		<description>During a time of difficulty with a local authority (in UK) years ago, I asked at the reference section of the public library for any relevant books, leaflets etc.

They had none, but gave really good advice on who to contact.  A response which I think was outside their official duties, but which paid off &amp; demonstrated outstanding service.

This kind of &#039;going the extra mile&#039; is never forgotten.</description>
